Beau Kemp

CFP®, RMA®, Financial Planner

Beau was drawn to the methodical nature of numbers and acquired his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance and a Certificate in Business Economics from Northern Arizona University. He found Sensible Money in 2017 after reaching out to a professor for more information about the financial planning profession.

While studying for his Certified Financial Planner® designation, Beau spent his days building models to illustrate the tax implications of different decumulation components, including Roth conversions, stock options, and real estate investments. His career progressed from Technician to Analyst to Financial Planner while he acquired his Retirement Management Advisor® designation and passed the Chartered Financial Analyst® Level 1 exam. Beau is also a member of NAPFA, an association of fee-only advisors, where he collaborates with other advisors to discuss topics such as firm practices, financial planning strategies and current events.

Beau grew up in Arizona and outside of work, you’ll find him and his wife spending time with their families, in the mountains, or chasing the next big catch in the ocean. They are also building their own portfolio, turning their first home into a rental, giving Beau hands-on practical experience to apply to clients who own rental properties.
