Dana’s favorite way to play is on the back of her Harley Softail Slim riding through the curves. Dana’s roots are Midwest, born in Iowa and then spending many years in St. Louis, MO, before moving to Florida, where she went to high school and college (go Gators!) Then it was off to Colorado where she began her career as a financial planner in Grand Junction in 1995. She moved to Arizona in 2001 to head up the wealth management division of a CPA firm. She founded Sensible Money in 2011 to focus on her passion of building a brand that is all about the client. In addition, she produces educational content, such as her recently released lecture series, How to Plan for the Perfect Retirement, available on The Great Courses.

She is originally from Seattle but decided to trade rain showers for sunshine when she moved to Phoenix in 2018. During an internship with Charles Schwab, she spent a day at the Sensible Money office in 2019. After her 2020 graduation, she took a position with another investment firm, acquired her CFP® designation in 2022, and then joined Sensible Money in 2023.

Prior to 2015 she spent sixteen years helping to run her family’s construction company in Park Rapids, MN. She then relocated to Scottsdale so she and her family could be closer to her in-laws.

CJ's favorite way to play is at some of the world's most renowned golf courses, including a few in Scottsdale. CJ is from the San Fernando Valley in Southern California. His previous career as a professional catching coach in the San Francisco Giants organization brought him to the Phoenix area in 2020, where, amidst the pandemic, he soon found a new career in Financial Planning. He has a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from New York University and was the first baseball player at NYU in over 40 years to be drafted to play MLB.

Navarrus’ favorite way to play is spending time with the people in his life that matters the most; his wife, son, family, and friends. He also enjoys being active in a variety of ways such as exercising in the gym, doing yard work, and simple outdoor walks. Navarrus is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, but was raised in Ellenwood and Decatur, Georgia. His previous career as a fitness manager at a retirement community triggered his interest in the financial planning industry, where he began his career in 2020. He has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Indiana University (IUPUI) and is the oldest of four siblings. Navarrus was drawn to Sensible Money because of the transparency and unbiased holistic advice given to clients with a focus on building organic relationships.

Keri’s favorite way to play is being outdoors with her husband. She enjoys challenging herself by being active and cooking in the kitchen, a learned talent from her mother and hours of watching the Food Network. She comes to Sensible Money originally with a sports background, getting her master’s degree in Australia after playing Division I soccer for Illinois State University. Before moving to Arizona to join Sensible Money she spent time with another financial services firm in Chicago, IL, helping with financial investment planning and insurance needs. She enjoys helping others in their financial journey, wherever it may take them.

Brent Burns

Brent brings more than a decade of financial and investment experience to his work in applying academic research to the development of practical and innovative portfolio strategies. Brent’s deep background in empirical finance helped form the basis for all of Asset Dedication’s modeling and analysis. Brent holds an MBA with honors from the University of San Francisco and a BS from the University of California, Berkeley.

Daniel Yeoman

Dan joined Asset Dedication in 2012, when his startup, AdvisorShip merged with Asset Dedication. At AdvisorShip, Dan helped numerous leaders in the independent financial planning space build their businesses with website development, online marketing, and technology integration. Prior to AdvisorShip, Dan was an independent technology and business consultant for various management consulting firms and startups. Dan earned his BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Babson College.

Jeremy Fletcher CFA

Jeremy has been in fixed income management since 1991. Most recently he co-managed the $3.5 billion fixed income investment pool at the City and County of San Francisco, where he created and implemented the strategy to deliver safety, liquidity, and yield to the pool’s constituents while providing cash flows for daily operations. Previously, he was a portfolio manager responsible for over $2 billion in fixed income assets at American Century Investments. Jeremy earned his BA in Economics/Mathematics from Claremont McKenna College and holds an MBA from the University of San Francisco.

Stephen J. Huxley PHD

A recognized leader in finance, investing and economics, Stephen has more than 35 years of experience researching and applying decision theory to real world problems. His prize-winning research in scheduling led to the development of the Asset Dedication approach, which applies a time and goals-based approach to asset allocation. His work ultimately led to the book Asset Dedication: How to Grow Wealthy with the Next Generation of Asset Allocation (McGraw-Hill, 2004), which he co-authored with Brent Burns. Stephen holds a doctorate in economics from the University of California at San Diego and an undergraduate degree in business and statistics from Ohio State University.
